Requirements
What you'll do
- Work closely with Product and Technology teams to develop high-quality software that enhances customer experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, well-structured backend services and APIs with regular production deployments.
- Participate & contribute to low level design decisions
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes, practices, and product development.
- Engage in team refinement and planning sessions.
- Take ownership in a “build it and run it” environment, ensuring deployment, monitoring, and support of owned components.
- Advocate for modern technical practices like Domain-Driven Design, CI/CD, pair programming, and mob programming.
- Supporting other engineers and creating a good teamworking environment
- Foster a positive engineering culture through collaboration, leadership, and best practices.
What you'll bring to the team
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience, preferably on eCommerce related product development
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies within our stack.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with C# and .NET or Java or NodeJs or Python
- Experience in the travel industry is a plus but not required.
- A pragmatic approach to delivering well-designed, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- A team player who thrives with autonomy and values open, constructive feedback in an inclusive environment.
- Leveraged AI based developer tools to accelerate your and team’s productivity
- Curious problem-solver with strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks is a plus
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture.
- Hands on Experience with any cloud platform GCP or Azure or AWS
- Experience with large-scale data handling, performance tuning, and observability (e.g. OpenTelemetry, Grafana, New Relic, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- You will collaborate with teams of Software Engineers based out of Bengaluru in a Hybrid model
- You will partner with other global team and stakeholders to design, develop and to deliver Travel eCommerce Domain capabilities at scale.
