As a DevOps Engineer Team Lead you will manage a small team and be part of the entire R&D chain, owning the DevOps side, define the deployment processes, orchestrate the provisioning of new services, design and tune the infrastructure to support the growth of our engineering and application scale and develop tools to increase productivity across teams.
As a DevOps Engineer Team Lead
- Lead the DevOps infrastracture, plan and implement improvements following best practices
- Lead a small but growing team
- Serve as a local expert to assist R&D team members
- Integrate High-Availability and Security considerations in every aspect of your work
- Responsible for 7/24 Operations in a proactive manner (Deployments, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, SLA/OLA Management, Service Capacity Management, Service Problem Management, etc.) for the corresponding services
- R&D internal tools
- Take part in designing and building highly available and multi-tenant cloud infrastructure
Requirements
- A genuine passion for technology, working in a team and be willing to look for opportunities to automate, improve and move forward.
- Good communication skills, a strong attention to details and have the ability to work independently under pressure.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
- Deploy and manage various common Helm charts, experience in writing Helm charts from scratch.
- 2+ years experience in Software Development (preferably in Python/Go).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies such as: Github Actions, ArgoCD – a must.
- Experience working with AWS cloud provider. Azure, Google Cloud – Advantage.
- Experience with monitoring, logging or observability stacks such as: Prometheus, ELK and Grafana Stack (Loki, Grafana).
- Experience with Infrastructure as a code tools such as: Terraform. CrossPlane – Advantage.
- Proven skill set in Linux OS, Docker, Networking, Load Balancing, API Gateway (Kong, APISix), etc.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with security-related aspects of infrastructure (VPN, Active Directory, Networking administration)
- Experience working with DBs, such as: MongoDB, MySQL and ArangoDB.
- Independent and self learner
- Experience with leading or supporting a SOC 2 certification process.
