We are seeking an entry-level Associate Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn project management fundamentals and grow within a collaborative fast-paced professional environment.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at the Whiteville, North Carolina office at least three (3) days per week to collaborate with project stakeholders and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in planning, organizing, and tracking projects from initiation through completion.
- Support the development of project timelines, task lists, and milestones.
- Help ensure projects stay on schedule by monitoring progress and flagging potential risks or delays.
- Maintain project documentation, files, and status updates.
- Execution & Task Management
- Coordinate tasks and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
- Support project leads in ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
- Follow established project management processes and workflows.
- Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for basic project-related communication.
- Assist in preparing project updates, summaries, and status reports for leadership.
- Help ensure clear and timely communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Track basic project metrics such as timelines, task completion, and resource needs.
- Assist in creating reports and documentation to support project reviews and evaluations.
- Learn how to analyze project outcomes and apply lessons learned to future projects.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams during in-office collaboration days.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–1 years of experience coordinating projects in academic, internship, or professional settings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and take feedback constructively.
- Willingness to learn project management tools and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework, certifications, or internships related to project management, business, or operations.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar).
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Interest in operations, process improvement, or cross-functional collaboration.
