The Role

As a Azure Cloud Architect, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 10+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role & Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies, guidelines and procedures of Valtech and customer while development is carried out.
• Collaborate across development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to drive migration success.
• Guide team members through peer reviews, task assignments, and architecture discussions.
• Ensure adherence to project SLAs, internal guidelines, and customer policies.
• Take full accountability for technical deliverables.
• Maintain strong communication and active collaboration with internal stakeholders and customer teams

Must have

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Able to design end-to-end solutions by using Azure cloud platform services along with Azure Redhat Open Shift (ARO)
• Able to design solution/strategize for migration to Azure cloud platform with scalability and cost effectiveness
• Define and Implement security while environment provisioning, Setup and Networking
• Design business continuity solutions including high availability, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
• Build and manage Azure cloud deployments using IaC scripts such as Terraform
• Should have strong working experience on designing the solutions under Kubernetes and associated tools Manifests, Helm, Skaffold
• Should have strong working experience on designing solutions using Containerization (Docker, Buildpacks)
• Should have strong experience in GitHub (Actions, Repositories, Secrets, Variables, Runners)
• Should have strong experience in architecting and designing Azure services (AKS, OpenShift, ACA, Azure SQL, Azure Redis, Managed Identities)
• Strong Fundamentals of multiple operating systems - Linux and Windows
• Strong experience in using and designing solutions using multiple DNS services
• Should strong design and architecture skills be using Automation and DevOps
• Ability to create reusable templates and solution building blocks/step-by-step guides for large scale migrations using AKS or OpenShift.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud platform Define and implement network models and security policies across Azure environments.
• Experience with automating build and deployment pipeline.
• Provide technical leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with VMware Tanzu platform for Java/.NET application migrations.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle, MS Build, or NPM.
• Experience leading large-scale migration projects targeting Azure for Java and .NET-based applications.
