Job Title: Senior Sales Development Executive

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt. Employment classification and eligibility for overtime may vary based on the employee’s work location and applicable state law.
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
Salary: $75,000-$100,000 per year
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $125,000. Additional upside may be available based on performance and evolving incentive structures.

We are scaling our commercial engine and are hiring a high-impact individual to drive top-of-funnel activity across our priority verticals. This is a unique opportunity to help build a modern public safety sales motion from the ground up.
Watch Duty is seeking a Senior Sales Development Executive (SSDE) to help drive top-of-funnel discovery and vertical validation across our highest-potential institutional markets. This is not a junior SDR role- we’re looking for a proven, mission-aligned prospector who can engage strategically with senior decision-makers across utilities, public agencies, telecoms, insurers, and critical infrastructure operators.
This individual will play a foundational role in surfacing signal, stress-testing vertical fit, and filling the pipeline with qualified leads that translate into scaled revenue. You’ll partner directly with the Chief Commercial Officer to prioritize outreach, refine messaging based on market feedback, and ensure seamless handoffs into mid-funnel opportunity management.
We are looking for someone with a builder’s mindset who can balance structure and hustle, experimentation and discipline. You must be fluent in outbound, energized by market-building, and credible in conversations with senior leaders in risk, resilience, and emergency management.
Remote (U.S.-based):
This is a primarily remote position operating in a distributed environment.
Work Hours:
Standard operating hours are aligned with Pacific Time, with flexibility required during high-impact incidents or operational needs.
Travel:
Approximately 5–10% travel may be required for partner engagements, training, or operational planning. Travel expenses are reimbursed per company policy.
