The AGM – Performance Marketing will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of performance-driven marketing initiatives across leading eCommerce platforms. This role requires a data-oriented leader who can scale revenue efficiently through analytical rigor, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The role includes managing end-to-end performance marketing outcomes while guiding a marketing executive responsible for reporting and campaign execution.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership (Critical)
- Define and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), performance benchmarks, and success metrics across campaigns
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches
- Drive scale-up strategies for premium and high-AOV product portfolios
Campaign Management
- Own and optimize paid marketing campaigns across major eCommerce and quick-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Jio, and similar channels
- Ensure campaigns are executed in alignment with brand guidelines and overall marketing objectives
Data Analysis & Reporting (Critical)
- Analyze campaign performance data to uncover trends, insights, and optimization opportunities
- Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting ROI, efficiency metrics, and growth drivers
- Use insights to influence budget allocation, targeting strategies, and campaign structures
Budget Ownership (Critical)
- Plan, allocate, and manage marketing budgets to maximize return on investment
- Track spends closely and ensure adherence to approved budgets while driving performance efficiency
Optimization & Experimentation (Critical)
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns using A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel analysis
- Implement data-backed changes to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with creative and content teams to develop high-impact ad creatives and messaging
- Coordinate with SEO, social media, and CRM teams to ensure integrated and consistent campaign execution
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, platform innovations, and evolving best practices
- Conduct competitive and category analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging threats
Education & Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Management
- MBA in Marketing preferred
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Amazon Ads / Platform Intelligence
- Deep understanding of Search Ads, Display Ads, and Product Listing Ads (PLA) across eCommerce portals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight timelines
