At Appleseed, we believe that all children deserve access to nutritious food. The fact that millions of children worldwide are lacking this basic right is, quite frankly, unacceptable. Fortunately, the problem is solvable. Globally, we have the resources and science necessary to provide adequate nutrition, but even with all these resources, changing eating habits is hard. That's where Appleseed comes in. We seek out inspiring organizations who have deep community connections and who are committed to providing access to better nutrition. Then, through an innovative on-the-ground approach, we dig into community motivations and harness the power of social marketing to create enduring behavior change. Ultimately, by arming communities with the tools to tackle childhood malnutrition, we can unleash the full potential of children.
