We are technologists who cut our teeth in Silicon Valley start-ups and learned at some of the Valley's largest success stories, from venerable HP to Yahoo! and Google. Through hard-won experience we know what it takes to get an idea off the ground and how to build a successful company. We have all been involved in web-based companies from their very beginning. Soon after Tim Berners Lee created the World Wide Web, we recognized the potential of the Internet and the web to transform society and committed our energies and talents to that change. Today a similar momentum is gaining for the application of technology to education and the future of children K-12. At Imagine K12 we do everything we can to make this happen as quickly and effectively as possible. In 2016, Imagine K12 joined Y Combinator to form an edtech vertical within YC. Imagine K12 now operates an edtech specialization within YC's program. New YC/Imagine K12 companies have access to YC's incomparable startup network and resources, coupled with Imagine K12's robust Educator Network and specialized understanding of the education market.
