Lightricks' story began with an ambitious group of PhD dropouts who realized that they'd much rather spend time developing cutting-edge products for real people than publishing academic papers. They were right! Lightricks was built on the premise that mobile devices can be used for so much more than passively viewing content. We believe these devices offer a unique opportunity to empower human creativity. Our goal is to integrate the most advanced technologies from computer vision, computer graphics, and image processing into products that enhance the experience of our users in ways that have never been seen before. Our first endeavor was building LTEngine, the most advanced visual processing engine for mobile platforms. Using LTEngine, we created Facetune and then Enlight - two of the most successful paid mobile apps in the world. With a number of innovative products on the horizon, we're excited about the future technologies that will build our future careers.
