Mental Health Colorado is the state's leading advocate for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. We seek to make Colorado a national leader in mental health by promoting universal screening and diagnosis, expanding access to affordable services, and eradicating stigma and discrimination. Originally founded in 1953 to provide leadership in addressing the full range of mental health and wellness issues in Colorado, we are an affiliate of Mental Health America in Washington, D. C. Mental Health Colorado envisions a state where all individuals are able to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
