Associate General Counsel, Transactions

As an Associate General Counsel, you will provide high-level support across business functions and geographies, balancing risk with innovation. This role bridges the legal, policy, and operational worlds by driving informed decision-making, leading cross-functional initiatives, and building the readiness required to operate in an evolving global environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders and business partners on complex legal and regulatory matters that impact commercial operations, policy, or enterprise strategy.
  
  Lead or co-lead legal strategies for key initiatives, including product development, market access, or international operations
  
  Interpret laws, policies, and enforcement trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  
  Serve as a connector between Legal and cross-functional groups.
  
  Manage legal input for high-impact business transaction

Qualifications

List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience.

• Required:
  Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  
  Active license to practice law in job location
  
  Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, including in-house or cross-functional legal advisory roles
  
  Preferred:
  Background in life sciences, healthcare, or a highly regulated global industry
  Demonstrated experience managing legal complexity across markets or functions
  Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through ambiguity
  Strong strategic thinking, judgement, and busin
