The Training and Learning Manager is a strategic and value-adding partner to brand teams and other key functions, experts in performance optimization, capability building and change management, providing high impact, best practice, integrated learning interventions which enable AbbVie to be always ahead of the curve.
- Have full accountability of all training, learning initiatives and upskilling programs for the affiliate for all functions, with focus on commercial and medical organization.
- Manage learning programs and interventions from vision and strategy to implementation, delivery and facilitation; leveraging staff where required, and employing creative approaches.
- Have a strategic oversight for all learning and development initiatives: lead the design and delivery of innovative learning solutions across the entire organisation, in all therapeutic areas, brand teams, in-field teams and other key functions, always ensuring excellence in execution and that organizational and global learning and upskilling goals are supported.
- Act as change agent on behalf of the Affiliate leadership team, driving strategic transformation of our organization and people in line with FutureFit priorities.
- Lead local implementation of Global/Area learning initiatives, based on the priority roadmap.
- Lead and implement Coaching program, Challenges sales model and Marketing upskilling (ACE competencies), facilitate new hire onboarding (learning programs, IFT effectiveness, MKT competencies, etc).
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships and external providers efficiently and effectively to time and to budget with clear measurable outcomes.
- Work closely within Customer Excellence functions, e.g. CEx Director and Business Effectiveness, MCM manager, CEX Manager, PEX Manager, proactively identifying capability gaps and solutions and support initiatives led by other team members.
- Share agreed outcome metrics for core initiatives, results, best practices and learnings across learning network at Affiliate, Area and Global levels.
- Maintain a high level of Continuing Professional Development in Learning & Development, keeping up to date with industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of field sales experience in pharmaceutical industry as an Account Manager.
- 3+ years marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry as a Brand Manager or District/Sales Manager.
- 2+ years sales or upskilling training experience.
- Prior experience leading projects with regional or national impact.
- High performing sales track record and strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization.
