This will be an exempt position reporting to the Director of Accounts Receivable. While this is a remote position, the candidate MUST be a U.S. resident and authorized to work in the U.S. without a visa sponsorship.
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Program Manager to oversee and scale our offshore Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations supporting Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) clients. This role will serve as the primary owner of offshore delivery performance—ensuring operational excellence, standardized workflows, and strong vendor partnerships.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of RCM domain expertise, offshore vendor management, and program governance, with the ability to build structure where needed and drive consistency across teams, processes, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Offshore Operations & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for offshore RCM vendors and delivery teams
- Own vendor governance including:
- Performance management and SLA adherence
- Capacity planning and staffing models
- Escalation management and issue resolution
- Lead regular operational reviews (daily/weekly/monthly) with offshore leadership
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align offshore delivery with business goals
SOP Development & Process Standardization
- Design, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across offshore RCM functions, including but not limited to:
- Charge entry
- Billing
- AR follow-up
- Cash posting
- Denials management
- Month end process
- Ensure SOPs are aligned with SNF-specific workflows, payer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Drive process adherence and continuous improvement initiatives
Staffing Models & Productivity Management
- Develop and maintain staffing ratios and productivity benchmarks by function and client type
- Partner with vendors to forecast demand and adjust staffing based on volume and client growth
- Monitor workload distribution and utilization to ensure efficiency and quality outcomes
Program & Project Management
- Lead cross-functional initiatives related to:
- New client onboarding and transitions
- Process improvements and automation efforts
- Vendor expansion or consolidation
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of operational initiatives
Reporting, Metrics & Governance
- Define and track KPIs related to offshore performance, including:
- Productivity and quality metrics
- Turnaround times
- Net collection rates and DSO
- Provide regular reporting and insights to executive and operational leadership
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, preferably supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or post-acute care
- 3+ years of experience managing offshore teams or third-party RCM vendors
- Strong knowledge of SNF RCM workflows, payer dynamics, and compliance considerations
- Proven experience developing SOPs, staffing models, and operational playbooks
- Solid project or program management experience (formal PM training or certification a plus)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-client RCM delivery models
- Familiarity with offshore delivery in India, Philippines, Eastern Europe or similar regions
- Experience with RCM platforms and reporting tools (e.g., billing systems, workflow tools, dashboards)
- PMP, PgMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications
Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The expected salary range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly.
