Join Our Team as an Attorney at Axiom

We are seeking a Patent Litigation Counsel to join our Technology and Industrial/Aerospace team. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients in tech, aerospace, and industrial sectors, focusing on patent litigation and intellectual property enforcement. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and industrial clients, managing high-value patent disputes and supporting strategic IP initiatives. This is an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and litigating patent claims and related IP documents.
• Providing legal guidance on patent infringement, defense strategies, and IP portfolio management.
• Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external counsel on litigation and enforcement matters.
• Managing patent litigation matters for clients in technology, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
• Staying ahead of industry trends, patent law developments, and emerging technologies to provide proactive counsel.

Qualifications:

• 3–8 years of experience in patent litigation, preferably in tech or industrial/aerospace sectors.
• Strong knowledge of patent law and litigation procedures.
• Proven track record of advising clients on patent disputes and IP enforcement strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in Mechanical, Computer Science, or Aerospace engineering.
• Experience with tech, industrial, or aerospace patent portfolios.
• Ability to handle mid-level litigation matters with flexibility on utilization (PT or FT).
• Familiarity with tech and industrial patent enforcement strategies and best practices.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
