Process Analysis & Improvement Specialist (f/m/div.)

 

• Analyze and map the current tariffing process and related activities within the EU Import Mailbox.
• Identify stakeholders, process interfaces, manual activities, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across the end-to-end workflow.
• Support and manage operational bottlenecks in the current mailbox handling process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, clarify roles and responsibilities, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Implement process improvements and redesign workflows to create leaner, more efficient ways of working.
• Drive initiatives towards process automation, with the long-term objective of minimizing or eliminating manual mailbox handling.
• Document and communicate new processes, acting as the first point of contact for stakeholder questions and feedback.
• Monitor process stabilization, incorporate improvement feedback where needed, and ensure a successful handover to the operational team.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience in process analysis, process improvement, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in an operational environment.
• Experience in Foreign Trade, Customs, or related areas such as Logistics, Purchasing, or Sales is an advantage.

• Process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Continuous Improvement (CIP) methodologies.
• Process optimization and automation mindset.
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Languages

• English – Full professional proficiency (written and spoken).
• German – Nice to have.
• Portuguese – Nice to have.
