- To meet or exceed the revenue targets set by the National Sales Manager
- Implement national sales priorities within the region, aligned to premium brand positioning and business growth.
- Create and own budgets and expenditures for the region to facilitate sales development
- Deliver against regional revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Identify regional and local growth opportunities across distribution and trades.
- Tailor go-to-market approach based on regional dynamics and dealer base
- Implement regional marketing spends to enforce national and regional directives.
- Consult and build regional promotions and sell through initiatives to grow awareness.
- Execute and own demand planning and forecast monthly, quarterly, annually.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with regional sales team, key regional distribution networks and dealers.
- Lead and promote jobsite visits, product demonstrations and distributor events.
- Partner with marketing on regional events, trade shows, and training sessions.
- Execute contracts and agreements at dealer level to secure future business
- Set clear activity and performance expectations incl. customer visits, demos and conversions, pipeline development.
- Promote and execute forward planning of promotions, buying windows and booking orders and main seasonal driver events
- Completed Diploma or Degree preferably Business, Marketing or 5–10+ years of sales experience in Power tools, industrial products, construction supplies, or similar categories.
- In-depth knowledge of the multi-level distribution flow, the intricacies of the customers involved
- Product knowledge of power tools and accessory products in the hardware industry an asset
- Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing a sales team
- Strategic thinker with strong execution of national sales strategies
- Active participant of change management, continuous improvements and best practices execution and development
- Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP/CRM experience an asset
Job location: Western Canada with some overnight travel required, up to 35% travel.
