The Senior Tax Accountant supports the global tax function with a primary focus on corporate income tax compliance, tax reporting, and provision-related activities across multiple jurisdictions. This role is responsible for tax filings and statutory requirements for the Philippines entity while also supporting global corporate tax compliance, return preparation, and estimated tax calculations for other countries. As an important member of the Finance team, this position will partner closely with the global tax team, finance organization, and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting while helping to build scalable and efficient global tax processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate the timely filing of Philippines VAT (quarterly) and withholding tax (monthly) returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and interpret Philippines tax laws and regulatory changes, assessing business impact, ensuring compliance, and advising stakeholders on required actions.
- Serve as a key point of contact for local tax compliance matters, including coordination with external advisors and support for tax audits, notices, and inquiries.
- Maintain audit-ready tax documentation and supporting schedules, ensuring proper organization and adherence to company policies.
- Support the preparation and coordination of corporate income tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with global tax team members and third-party advisors.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax estimates, including extensions, payment calculations, and tracking obligations across jurisdictions.
- Partner with global finance teams and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely tax filings and consistent compliance across countries.
- Assist in the management and resolution of global tax audits, notices, and inquiries, including gathering documentation and supporting responses.
- Maintain and enhance global tax compliance calendars and tracking tools to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including automation and streamlining of tax processes.
- Contribute to initiatives to modernize and centralize the global tax function, including documentation of procedures and best practices.

Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience:
- Five+ years of relevant experience
Exposure:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Hands on experience of Philippine Accounting Rules and Regulations (BIR) - Essential
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is preferred
