What We're Looking For

We're hiring a part-time Marketing & Events Manager to run our events, look after our member community, and pitch in across the rest of marketing.

Events are the anchor. Our marketing team builds the plan and you take it from there: handling logistics, holding the budget, and making sure the day goes the way it was drawn up. Some are small brand events. Others are conference booths or campus visits.

The community side is our ambassador program. These are women in their 20s and 30s who have been through our Split program. They are our most credible voices, and getting more of their stories into the world is one of our highest-priority growth levers.

The rest is supporting other marketing initiatives. That could be helping with our referral program, supporting our partnerships lead or pitching in to help support brand efforts.

Responsibilities

Events

  • Executing brand events against a plan: venue sourcing, vendor selection and management, budget tracking, timelines and run of show development
  • Managing invite lists and RSVP tracking in coordination with internal teams
  • Coordinating conference presence including booth logistics, collateral, swag, shipping, and any receptions we host
  • Planning and executing smaller-scale and regional activations, including campus events
  • Delivering a post-event debrief covering turnout, engagement, and recommendations for improvements

Ambassador Community

  • Running the day-to-day of our ambassador community program: onboarding new members, managing the platform, and keeping engagement healthy
  • Managing community communications following a calendar built with the marketing team
  • Bringing ideas for how to keep members engaged and activated, informed by what you're seeing in the community
  • Sourcing member stories, testimonials, and participants for content, press, and advocacy opportunities, and handing qualified members off to the relevant internal or external contact
  • Communicating and promoting member perks, rewards, and incentives to the community, and driving awareness and uptake of what's available
  • Maintaining the agreements and consent process behind member participation, and ensuring member-created content meets applicable disclosure requirements
  • Delivering regular reporting on community health and output: participation, stories sourced, and downstream impact

Other Marketing

  • Supporting day-to-day execution on other marketing initiatives, like our referral program and partnerships
  • Managing swag end to end: sourcing, ordering, inventory, and fulfillment across events, members, and gifting
  • Supporting brand initiatives or other marketing projects as they come up

Who We're Looking For

  • Several years running events alongside member or ambassador programs, ideally for consumer brands
  • You've taken events from plan to execution while holding to budget
  • Comfortable running events you won't be attending. You've built the plan tight enough that people on the ground can follow it without you
  • Organized to a fault. Details don't slip and you don't need reminding
  • You write well. Members will hear from you regularly and you will need to convey our brand voice
  • You understand how to engage a community and build trust with them
  • Familiar with FTC disclosure rules for ambassador content, or willing to learn them quickly
  • Ready to jump into projects of all sizes, supporting broader brand and marketing initiatives beyond core events and community
  • You like variety and can easily move between unrelated projects
  • Bonus: Curiosity or interest in women's health and reproductive wellness

Details

  • Approximately 20-30 hours a week, depending on the events calendar.
  • This role does not require travel. Events outside your area are planned and run remotely, working through on-site vendors and Cofertility team members attending.
  • Hourly rate: $45-$55/hour, depending on experience
