This position serves as an employee resource for all HR needs and works collaboratively with our internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years prior experience in Human Resources, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures, including current labor laws and technical recruiting. We are seeking someone who connects with people, is organized and has a detail-oriented mindset. Looking for successful experience with recruitment of technical mid/senior/executive level candidates - including programmers, data scientists, data analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen and interview candidates to identify the best fit for various technical and non-technical roles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to resolve issues effectively.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Understanding, assisting and maintaining compliance of legal component of HR (labor laws compliance, sponsorship/immigration, FMLA, Paid Leave, Background checks, Title VII, audits prep, unemployment, terminations)
- Contribute to HR Projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as a recruiter and HR generalist in a tech or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
