We're looking for an Accounting Senior Manager to play a critical leadership role within our accounting team. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants to help shape the financial backbone of a rapidly expanding beauty brand. You'll own core accounting operations, lead the monthly close, and serve as a key bridge between rhode's finance team and e.l.f. Beauty's corporate accounting function — ensuring compliance, accuracy, and scalability as we grow.

What You'll Do

    Month-End & Financial Close
    • Lead and own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate, timely,
and compliant financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
    • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and flux analyses.
    • Consolidate and review financial results for leadership and corporate (e.l.f. Beauty) reporting.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and
    expense management.
    • Partner with the Assistant Controller to maintain and strengthen internal controls, SOX readiness,
    and audit compliance.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and product development, to
support their financial needs and review budget v. actuals monthly.
    • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to scale the
    accounting function.
    • Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, review, and growth opportunities

What You'll Bring

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles in public accounting and/or corporate
accounting at a high-growth consumer brand.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
    • Experience leading a month-end close and preparing financial statements.
    • Proficiency with modern ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
    • Prior experience with multi-channel consumer/retail businesses (DTC, wholesale, and/or Sephora-
style retail) is a strong plus
    • Hands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to see both the big picture and the granular details.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes.
    • Strong communicator who can partner effectively across functions and with corporate parent-
    company stakeholders.
    • Self-starter who takes ownership and drives initiatives from start to finish.
