The Head of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is responsible for setting and delivering Endava’s global corporate real estate and workplace strategy. The role ensures that Endava’s offices, leases, and workplace services support business growth, talent attraction, operational efficiency, sustainability objectives, and the evolving ways Endava’s people work.
This is a senior, global leadership role with accountability for a diverse international portfolio, balancing commercial rigour with employee experience, change management, and risk governance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Strategy
- Define and execute Endava’s global corporate real estate and workplace strategy, aligned to business strategy, growth plans, and operating model.
- Lead the evolution of Endava’s hybrid and flexible working environment, ensuring space, technology, and policy enable productivity and collaboration.
- Translate workforce, location, and growth strategies into clear space and portfolio plans.
2. Portfolio & Transaction Management
- Oversee Endava’s global office portfolio, including lease strategy, acquisitions, disposals, renewals, exits, and restructurings.
- Lead negotiations with landlords, agents, and advisors to achieve optimal commercial outcomes and manage risk.
- Maintain a robust long-range portfolio plan, scenario modelling future demand, costs, and risks.
3. Financial Management & Value Optimisation
- Own the global CRE operating and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring strong financial discipline and value for money.
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining quality, resilience, and employee experience.
- Provide clear financial reporting, forecasting, and business cases to senior leadership.
4. Workplace Operations & Facilities Management
- Ensure effective, safe, and compliant operation of all Endava offices, including facilities management, health & safety, security, and business continuity.
- Establish global standards and policies while allowing for appropriate local flexibility.
- Oversee third-party service providers and outsourced partners, ensuring performance, cost control, and continuous improvement.
5. Capital Projects & Change Delivery
- Sponsor and govern office fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations, and consolidation projects globally.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality, sustainability, and experience standards.
- Lead workplace change programmes associated with new ways of working, office moves, and portfolio change.
6. Sustainability, ESG & Risk
- Embed sustainability and ESG principles into real estate strategy, design standards, and operations.
- Reduce environmental impact through energy efficiency, space optimisation, and responsible supplier management.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate real estate, operational, and compliance risks across the portfolio.
7. Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
- Act as the senior CRE advisor to the Executive team and senior business leaders.
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, and regional leadership teams.
- Influence and support leaders and employees through periods of change, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
8. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and develop the global corporate real estate and facilities team.
- Build capability in portfolio planning, commercial negotiation, project delivery, and workplace strategy.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
