Welcome to Expel... we’d like you to help us do just that! For this role you’ll report to our Manager, Financial Reporting and join a rapidly-maturing, agile accounting team ready for whatever our future holds. We’ve adopted a “continuous close” approach that allows us to boast a speedy 2-day monthly close while maintaining our “customer service” reputation with other teams and still have bandwidth to knock out bigger key priorities and personal projects to help drive innovation and improvement in the overall business.
We like to say that accountants aren’t boring people, we just get excited over boring things. We’re on the lookout for someone that can match our enthusiasm for breaking through the status quo of accounting. This includes things like bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, reporting, tax compliance, audit preparations, etc.

While our headquarters are located in Herndon, VA, we are open to those based remotely who can make quarterly trips to the office for team touchdowns.
The base salary range for this role is between $65,000 USD and $90,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data.
