About the role
Fenergo is continuing to evolve its people and reward frameworks to support growth, consistency, and fairness across the organisation. We are seeking a Total Reward Specialist to play a key role in designing, implementing, and governing our reward structures.
This role will focus on job architecture, benchmarking, equity management, and job levelling governance, ensuring our reward practices are competitive, transparent, and scalable.
Responsibilities
Job Architecture & Job Families
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Fenergo’s job architecture, including job families, career paths, and role definitions.
- Ensure job architecture remains aligned to business strategy, organisational design, and growth.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to review and evolve roles as the organisation scales.
Job Levelling & Governance
- Own and maintain job codes, levelling frameworks, and governance processes.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on role levelling, promotions, and organisational changes.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in role evaluation and application across the business.
- Maintain clear documentation and controls for job architecture and levelling decisions.
Benchmarking & Market Data
- Lead compensation benchmarking activities using external market data.
- Analyse and interpret market trends to support salary reviews, hiring decisions, and reward strategy.
- Partner with Talent and Finance to ensure competitive and sustainable pay positioning.
Equity & Long-tern Incentives
- Support the management and administration of equity programmes, including grants, eligibility, and governance.
- Partner with Finance and external providers to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Provide insights and analysis to support equity decision-making and policy development.
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvements
- Produce reward insights, reports, and analysis to support decision-making.
- Continuously review and improve reward processes, tools, and governance to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal reviews as required.
Requirements

Essential:
- Experience in Total Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or Reward Analytics roles.
- Strong experience with job architecture, job levelling, and governance frameworks.
- Experience conducting compensation benchmarking using market data.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Ability to apply sound judgement and influence stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on consistency and fairness.
Desirable
- Experience managing or supporting equity / long-term incentive programmes.
- Experience in a scaling or high-growth organisation.
- Familiarity with HRIS and reward tools (e.g. Workday, Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, etc.).
