The AVP, Enterprise Outsourcing Effectiveness is a critical, strategic role accountable for enterprise outsourcing outcomes including strategic alignment, performance and quality, risk and compliance, and cost effectiveness. This individual will play a key role in shaping how the organization balances outsourcing with other levers to drive operational excellence and support enterprise growth through close cross-functional partnerships.

Shape Enterprise Outsourcing Strategy

- Develop and oversee the enterprise outsourcing strategy in alignment with enterprise and COO priorities.
- Partner closely with Human Resources on Enterprise Workforce Management, and help lead the strategic movement between, and balance across, outsourcing, full-time staff, contingent workers, and automation.
- Serve as a member of the Enterprise Workforce Management Steering Committee.
- Provide strategic recommendations and risk insights to the COO and Insurance Management Committee relative to outsourcing opportunities including appropriate business case development
- Act as the F&G subject matter expert relative to comprehensive outsourcing strategy, execution, and activity
- Engage in external industry and outsourcing networks to bring industry best practices and thinking to F&G
- Participate in Senior Leadership Team discussions across all areas touching outsourcing
- Evaluate outsourcing operating model opportunities
Design and Execute Outsourcing Initiatives
- Translate executive priorities into operational requirements, ensuring alignment between internal teams and outsourced partners.
- Create recommendations for strategic activity transfers with end-to-end dependencies, cost-benefit-analysis, risk analysis, stakeholder input, sequencing, and technology and financial implications working closely with cross-functional partners.
- Support, follow, and report on the full lifecycle of outsourced engagements, including transition planning, onboarding, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and ongoing operational effectiveness.
- Drive standardization and consistency in process, tools, documentation and engagement models across all outsourced relationships
Manage Outsourcing Performance, Risk, and Compliance
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive scorecard and reporting framework for all existing outsourcing relationships, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, risk tolerance, and performance expectations. Monitor and report out on trends.
- Work with business unit leaders and Vendor Management to provide guidance and recommendations on performance management, SLA enforcement, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) development, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor, track and report on material issue resolution and propose mitigation strategies.
- Lead, or participate in, quarterly business reviews, ensuring outcomes, risks and action items are clearly documented and consistently addressed.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, security and data privacy requirements, including audit participation and remediation of audit findings
Align Stakeholders and Lead the Function
- Work closely with HR, Operations, IT, Finance, Risk, PRT and Retail leadership to develop and monitor feedback loops and interaction models, including voice of business and voice of customer.
- Provide insights to Vendor Management and Strategic Sourcing relative to outsourcing outcomes and partners. Aggregate strategic insights to incorporate into recommendations, scorecards, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Analytics, Process Engineering and Portfolio Management teams to ensure constant alignment on outsourcing strategy and execution.

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum Qualifications -
Education Level- Bachelor's Degree
YOE- 10+ years of relevant experience - 10+ years in service strategy, outsourcing strategy, third-party administration or business process operations required. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence both with and without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications-
Education Level- Master's Degree
YOE- Insurance or financial industry experience preferred
