Your mission

As a Senior Product Researcher at Frontify, you'll help shape the future of how brands work by turning customer and market signals into clear product insights.

The role combines two disciplines: running rigorous product research, and building the AI workflows and automation that make research faster, more consistent, and easier for teams to use. In practice, that means conducting qualitative, competitive, and market research to uncover meaningful opportunities, designing AI-assisted workflows that handle the repetitive parts of research operations, and helping product teams self-serve common research questions through reusable tools.

This is a highly autonomous role where curiosity, initiative, and sound judgment are just as important as research expertise. You identify the opportunities, define the priorities, and move initiatives forward, sharing early analysis and work in progress to help teams learn quickly and refine decisions. And when it's time to present your findings, you don't just report — you bring the customer's world to life in a way that makes teams feel it.

Your responsibilities

You'll partner with product trios to deliver timely, decision-ready research that informs product strategy and development.

You'll plan and conduct qualitative research, including customer interviews, synthesis, and structured analysis.

You'll perform competitive and market research to help teams understand trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs.

You'll design, build, and maintain AI-assisted workflows that improve research operations, including recruitment, synthesis, analysis, and reporting.

You'll create reusable research tools, templates, and frameworks that enable product teams to answer common research questions independently.

You'll establish quality standards and validation processes that ensure AI-generated outputs are grounded in real evidence and sound research practices.

You'll improve how research is captured, shared, and reused across the organization.

You'll present findings in ways that build genuine empathy for users — turning data and interviews into stories that stick and drive decisions.

You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to connect customer insights with product outcomes.

You'll proactively identify opportunities to increase the impact, efficiency, and scalability of research at Frontify.

You'll balance multiple priorities across teams while maintaining a high bar for rigor, quality, and speed.

Your story

• You can work from anywhere in Switzerland, with access to our office in St. Gallen whenever you'd like. Whether you prefer to work remotely, from the office, or a mix of both, the choice is yours.

• You have 5+ years of experience in product research, user research, market research, or a related discipline within SaaS or technology environments.

• You have extensive experience conducting qualitative research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

• You bring strong analytical thinking and a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving.

• You have experience conducting competitive and market research using reliable, evidence-based methods.

• You're a natural storyteller. You love presenting your work, you know how to make an audience feel the user's perspective, and you're at your best when you're in the room bringing insights to life.

• You're comfortable working alongside quantitative researchers, product managers, product designers, and engineers, using data to strengthen your recommendations.

• You understand where automation can create leverage and where human judgment remains essential.

• You have experience building, improving, or experimenting with AI-enabled workflows, research operations, or automation tools. Experience with platforms such as n8n is a plus.

• You thrive in highly autonomous environments and are comfortable defining priorities, identifying opportunities, and driving initiatives forward independently.

• You enjoy working cross-functionally, sharing work early, incorporating feedback, and helping teams learn quickly.

• You have excellent communication skills and can translate complex findings into clear, compelling stories that drive action.

• You speak English fluently.
