As Deputy Director of Creator Innovation, you'll lead research, design, planning, execution and measurement on new and innovative creator activation strategies. Responsibilities
- Independently sets priorities, benchmarks, and improvement areas for innovative programs vertical
- Conduct creator industry research including robust competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, tools and tactics in the broader digital world and identify opportunities for impact and electoral applications
- Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging and experimental tactics on internal and external teams, including in sales and client-service settings
- Produce strategic proposals and project plans to achieve complex and competing goals
- Prioritize innovation to ensure continuous improvement and growth. Maintain a critical eye on program design, question program assumptions and revisit design often to ensure success
- Present on emerging experimental work in panels, presentations and sales opportunities independently and confidently
- Have full time direct reports: Independently identify gaps in team and make hiring and training recommendations to accomplish goals and scale
- Manage positive client relationships and regularly update key stakeholders on program progress and learnings, including preparing for and leading weekly client calls as needed
- Stay up-to-date on current events, trends and news stories as it pertains to key social platforms and the content creation industry, to serve as an expert in strategy conversations with clients
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in digital strategy and program management, including: Designing and leading experimental tactics to success, managing direct reports, and overseeing complex programs with $1M+ budgets
- Passion for intersectional progressive issues and a strong cultural competency
- Expertise on the ever-changing digital landscape, particularly as it pertains to reaching niche audiences and creating high performing content at scale
- Great organizational & communication skills with a strong commitment to follow-up
- Confident communicator with a client services focus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with variable hours and strict deadlines
