About the Role
You are a detail oriented and highly organized professional who thrives on bringing order, consistency, and world class design to digital content. You understand the value of templates as a core driver of product adoption and customer success and why their tailored quality is paramount. You enjoy managing both the creative and operational sides of template development, from concept and design to implementation within the app.
You take pride in ensuring every template meets high creative standards, functionally appropriate, and aligned with brand guidelines. You are comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and translating their needs into scalable resources. You have a natural eye for design, a mind for structure, and the persistence to maintain a template library that is relevant and easy to use.
You are equally energized by the operational side of template management and the creative opportunities it offers to improve user experience for millions of customers around the globe. You see templates as both a product and a strategy, and you understand their impact on customer onboarding, retention, and long term engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Vendor Management & Production Oversight
-Manage External Partners: Serve as the primary point of contact for 3rd party design contractors; provide clear creative briefs, manage feedback loops, and answer queries to keep production moving.
-Milestone Tracking: Enforce timelines and manage production schedules to ensure a steady stream of new assets (funnels, sites, graphics) are delivered on time.
-Quality Control (Visual): Review vendor deliverables against brand guidelines to ensure design consistency before final acceptance.
2. Copywriting & Creative Asset Development
-Multi-Channel Copywriting: Write compelling, industry-specific copy for a variety of templates, including Social Media posts, Google Ad headlines/descriptions, and Email Marketing campaigns.
-Interactive Content: Conceptualize and build logic for interactive assets, such as Lead Gen Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes, ensuring they capture the right data for our users.
-Contextualizing Assets: Ensure that generic designs are populated with realistic, industry-relevant text (e.g., writing "Plumbing" copy for a plumbing template rather than using "Lorem Ipsum").
3. Template Library Implementation & Maintenance
-Asset implementation: Take finalized designs and copy and submit them to the HighLevel Template Library, ensuring all proper configuration.
-Tagging & Taxonomy: Apply the correct naming conventions and tags (as defined by the Library Coordinator) to ensure assets are searchable and organized.
-Version Control: Manage the archiving of old templates and the publishing of new versions to keep the library fresh.
What You’ll Bring:
-Vendor/Project Management: Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or external vendors. You are comfortable giving feedback and holding others accountable to deadlines.
-Strong Copywriting Skills: You can write punchy social captions, persuasive ad copy, and clear website text. (Portfolio or writing samples preferred).
-Organizational Rigor: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Trello) to track multiple asset pipelines simultaneously.
-Marketing Generalist Knowledge: You understand the anatomy of a Google Ad, the purpose of a Lead Magnet, and how a Quiz funnel works.
-Platform Familiarity: Comfort with HighLevel (or similar drag-and-drop builders) to upload and configure assets. Note: Deep coding skills are not required, but comfort with software interfaces is a must.
Experience/Education/Certifications Required:
-Experience working in a software as a service or digital marketing environment
-Understanding of user experience and interface best practices
-Experience marketing in a wide variety of local business and professional services
Why HighLevel?
-High-growth company with a devoted user base and a huge market opportunity
-A unique chance to shape not just product marketing, but also education and certification strategy
Collaborative team culture
-Smart, passionate colleagues and room to lead
