The RoleWe’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Social Planner. Grow our value metric numbers from 30M to 90M published posts with the goal of focusing on adoption, activation and retention metrics.
You’ll be responsible for turning a strong product vision into reality, driving meaningful business and customer impact, and leveling up the product team around you. You’ll directly mentor and grow a team of PMs into solid Senior product managers while partnering closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and GTM.
This is a highly strategic, high-impact role for someone who can think in systems, ship fast with quality, and raise the bar for product management across the organization.
What You’ll Own1. Product Strategy & Vision - Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Social Planner.
- Translate company and product vision into clear north-star metrics, long-term bets, and a sequenced 12–18 month roadmap.
- Identify and validate the most impactful problems to solve for our core customers (agencies, marketers, SMBs, etc.).
2. Social Planner – UI/UX Excellence & Competitive Parity - Own Social Planner as a core flagship experience that can compete with other tools
- Lead major improvements across:
- UI & workflows (scheduling, approvals, calendar, collaboration, automations, comment management).
- Statistics & reporting (post performance, account-level insights, content analytics).
- Controls for owners (permissions, approvals, governance, workspace controls).
- Partner with Design to deliver a clean, intuitive, and scalable UX, and ensure high-quality execution with Engineering.
3. Execution, Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership - Turn strategy into clear, prioritized roadmaps, well-defined problem statements, and detailed specs where needed.
- Run discovery (customer interviews, data analysis, experiments) to validate problems and solutions.
- Partner with Engineering to plan releases, manage scope, and ensure predictable and high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to:
- Shape positioning, messaging, and GTM plans.
- Enable internal teams with the right documentation and training.
- Incorporate market/field feedback quickly into the roadmap.
4. Mentorship & Team Development - Directly mentor and grow two APMs into strong PM2s, with clear expectations, coaching, and feedback.
- Build a culture of data-informed, customer-obsessed, outcome-driven product management.
- Lead by example on craft: PRDs, problem framing, stakeholder management, and prioritization.
- Evangelize best practices around experimentation, discovery, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring - 9+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3+ years at Senior/Staff/Principal level owning complex product areas.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful products in B2B SaaS, ideally in:
- Marketing automation
- Social media management
- Strong technical aptitude:
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, and system design at a conceptual level.
- Experience working with data/ML/AI-driven products is a strong plus.
- Deep experience with discovery and experimentation: Defining metrics, running A/B tests, analyzing usage data, and validating hypotheses.
- Demonstrated ability to rebuild or significantly revamp complex UX flows (dashboards, editors, planners, calendars, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments with multiple priorities.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)Within your first year, you will have:
- Delivered a clear, aligned 12–18 month roadmap for Social Planner.
- Shipped high-impact improvements that upgrade Social Planner UX and capabilities to be competitive with leading social tools like Hootesuite, Buffer, Publer.
- Improved key metrics (usage, retention, satisfaction) across your product area.
- Earned a reputation as a go-to strategic leader who can connect dots across teams and drive big, meaningful outcomes.
