GRAIL is hiring a Commercial Analytics and Forecasting Sr. Manager who will own both near-term demand forecasting and strategic long-term planning models. You will also lead various analyses across the commercial organization.
Your background should include a strong analytical skill set, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality insights in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director, Forecasting, Analytics, and Reporting.
This role is based in Menlo Park, California, and will move to Sunnyvale, California, in Fall 2026. It offers a flexible work arrangement, with the ability to work from GRAIL's office or from home. Our current flexible work arrangement policy requires that a minimum of 40%, or 16 hours, of your total workweek be on-site. Your specific schedule, determined in collaboration with your manager, will align with team and business needs and could exceed the 40% requirement for the site. At our Menlo Park campus, Tuesdays and Thursdays are the key days where we encourage on-site presence to engage in events and on-site activities.
Responsibilities
- Forecasting:
- Own and maintain detailed near-term Galleri demand forecasting and strategic Long-Range Planning (LRP) models for Galleri.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses around key forecast inputs to facilitate decision-making.
- Clearly articulate and drive alignment of forecast assumptions when presenting to commercial stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Represent commercial as the go-to lead subject matter expert on all things forecasting.
- Analytics:
- Lead cross-functional projects using data analysis techniques to uncover insights and guide strategic decisions within the commercial organization.
- Build, develop, and maintain data-driven models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that support business decisions.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of data and deliverables.
- Partner with sales leadership across various go-to-market channels, uncovering insights and guiding decisions and tactics.
- Assess the impact of various promotional tactics on commercial revenue.
- Comfortable and able to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and unstructured requests.
- Clearly communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- BA / BS undergraduate college degree required, and 4 or more years of work experience.
- Very strong spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets) and experience with translating findings into slides (PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Willing to travel when the business requires it (10–15% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Independent problem solver who brings solutions to business problems.
- Reliable teammate who consistently follows through with commitments.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Prior experience within commercial operations, analytics, forecasting, enablement, or a similar team.
- Prior healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with BI tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, Databricks, etc.
- Relevant work experience in management consulting and/or investment banking, or market development, strategy, corporate analytics roles within life sciences, diagnostic, biopharma, or healthcare services companies.
- Technical proficiency with database design, working knowledge of SQL or other coding languages.
- Experience managing projects and vendors.

- May be exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens, and instruments with moving parts, heating or freezing elements, and high-speed centrifugation.

- Ability to travel 10–15% as required.
The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $135K-$179K. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.
This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including an annual bonus and/or incentives, subject to the terms of the applicable plans and Company discretion. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications.
