At Ideals, we’re growing fast across regions, cultures, and regulatory landscapes. We're looking for an International Tax Analyst in Ukraine to join our Tax team and support a wide range of cross-border tax activities across our multiple jurisdictions.

You will work with many jurisdictions and tax rules, which require curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly.
The environment is dynamic - tax structures evolve, processes change, and priorities can shift.
A large part of the work requires navigating non-standard, one-off cases, where there is no ready-made answer and you’ll need to research, analyze, and propose solutions.
The team is building and formalizing internal processes, meaning you will contribute to creating tax policies, documentation, and risk assessments from scratch.
You will act as an internal advisor for different teams, which requires confidence, structured thinking, and strong communication.

Handle day-to-day international tax operations, including withholding tax, VAT/reverse charge mechanisms, employment-related tax calculations, and client/tender documentation reviews
Provide internal tax advisory to teams across different jurisdictions and support compliance-related queries
Support the development of tax modelling and analytical calculations under the guidance of senior team members
Contribute to the preparation and structuring of internal tax policies, process documentation, and risk assessments, enabling future automation
Review tax implications for global operations and assist in evaluating tax risks across countries
Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure consistent and accurate tax practices
3+ years of experience in international tax, corporate tax, audit, or tax consulting (preferably within Big 4 or second-tier firms)
Hands-on experience working with foreign jurisdictions, apart from Ukraine
Solid understanding of international taxation principles and ability to analyze complex tax scenarios
Strong analytical mindset and basic knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent English skills (at least C1) to communicate with global stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
High ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to dive deep into new legislation and tax frameworks
Experience with US and EU tax matters
Background in legal or financial fields (both are valuable)
Experience with tax audit, due diligence, and financial modelling
Familiarity with ERP systems or automation tools
