Ideals Virtual Data Room: A web-based cloud platform used by companies in a wide range of industries to ensure secure confidential document sharing for online due diligence, fundraising transactions, corporate reporting, licensing, clinical trials, and other business goals.
At Ideals, we’re growing fast — across regions, cultures, and regulations. We are looking for an International Tax Analyst (Junior Level) to join our Tax team and support a wide range of cross-border tax activities across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is designed for someone at the early stage of their international tax career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on exposure in a dynamic global environment:
-You will gradually build expertise by working with real-life tax cases, participating in process development, and supporting internal stakeholders across the business.
- You will work with many jurisdictions and tax rules, which requires curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly.
-The environment is dynamic — tax structures evolve, processes change, and priorities can shift.
-A large part of the work requires navigating non-standard, one-off cases, where there is no ready-made answer and you’ll need to research, analyze, and propose solutions.
If you enjoy complexity, problem-solving, operating across borders, and being part of building something new, this role is a great match!
Support day-to-day international tax operations, including withholding tax, VAT/reverse charge mechanisms, employment-related tax calculations, and client/tender documentation reviews.
Assist senior team members with internal tax advisory requests from teams across different jurisdictions and help address compliance-related queries.
Support tax modelling and analytical calculations under the supervision of senior team members, gradually building confidence in tax analysis.
Contribute to the preparation and structuring of internal tax policies, process documentation, and risk assessments, enabling future automation.
Assist in reviewing tax implications of global operations and identifying potential tax risks across countries.
Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure consistent and accurate tax practices.
1-2 years of experience in international tax, corporate tax, audit, or tax consulting (Big4 or second-tier firms are strong fits).
Basic understanding of corporate and/or international taxation principles and strong interest in cross-border tax topics.
An analytical mindset and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
English at Upper-Intermediate level + is preferred, as English is the main working language.
Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and work in a structured way in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail, sense of ownership and willingness to dive deep into new legislation and tax frameworks.
Initial exposure to US and EU tax matters.
Background in finance, economics, law, or accounting.
Experience with tax audit, due diligence, or basic modelling.
Familiarity with ERP systems or automation tools.
