Role Summary:
The Salesforce System Administrator at inKind is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and ongoing optimization of our Salesforce platform, which powers our two-sided marketplace. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal Salesforce requests, partners closely with our Salesforce Architect on larger initiatives, and ensures system stability, data integrity, and a strong user experience across Sales, Operations, and Support teams.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong declarative Salesforce skills, sound judgment around change management, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Own day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user access, security, configuration, reports, dashboards, and declarative automation
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve Salesforce support requests through Jira Service Management, providing clear and timely communication to stakeholders
- Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce configuration and automation (Flows, validation rules, approval processes), troubleshooting issues in production
- Execute and validate configuration changes in sandbox environments and support production deployments, including off-hours releases when required
Partner with the Salesforce Architect and cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, support larger initiatives, and continuously improve Salesforce processes - Maintain documentation, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and proactively monitor system health and data quality
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3β5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience supporting production environments
- Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools, particularly Flow, permissions, and automation best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce configuration and data issues in a live environment
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model concepts, security, and access controls
- Experience managing work through a ticketing or request system (Jira or similar)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to support off-hours deployments as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I)
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; exposure to Data Cloud or Agentforce is a plus
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and working in a high-growth technology environment
Work Environment:
- Must be available to support feature releases and product changes during off-hours (evenings/weekends) in coordination with our Salesforce Architect
- Standard business hours with flexibility required for deployment windows
