Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Qualified Security Assessor (AQSA) to join our PCI Services team in Latin America. The successful candidate will assist in conducting PCI DSS assessments, reviewing client evidence, evaluating security controls, and supporting compliance initiatives for organizations across various industries. This role requires a foundational understanding of PCI DSS, strong analytical skills, and a desire to develop expertise within a professional PCI assessment practice. The AQSA will work closely with senior assessment personnel to help clients improve their security posture and achieve PCI DSS compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with PCI DSS assessments and reviews for clients across various industries, supporting compliance with PCI DSS requirements.
• Review client-provided evidence and documentation to validate compliance with PCI DSS controls.
• Participate in client interviews and information-gathering activities.
• Prepare assessment workpapers and document observations, findings, and remediation recommendations.
• Assist in preparation of assessment reports, executive summaries, and other client deliverables.
• Support PCI DSS scoping activities, including review of network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system inventories.
• Track assessment milestones, evidence requests, remediation efforts, and outstanding client actions.
• Perform security control reviews, risk assessments, and compliance validation activities.
• Research PCI SSC guidance, PCI DSS updates, and industry best practices.
• Maintain assessment documentation in accordance with company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting PCI DSS assessments or PCI DSS compliance programs.
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS requirements and assessment methodologies.
• Understanding of information security fundamentals, networking concepts, and common security technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred and Portuguese a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting PCI DSS assessments, SAQ reviews, or compliance consulting engagements.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, network security, vulnerability management, or GRC programs.
• Experience preparing compliance documentation, audit artifacts, and client-facing deliverables.
• Infosec certs such as CISSP or CISM
• Audit cert such as CISA
