Accountabilities:
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth across the mass market segment. You will use consultative selling techniques to understand client needs and position solutions that create meaningful business value.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing activities.
- Develop relationships with mid-market business clients across Australia and New Zealand.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound sales activities and pipeline development.
- Understand customer goals and challenges to recommend relevant technology solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
- Build strategic sales messaging and communicate the value of solutions to decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and sales activity tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer engagement and business expansion.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to strengthen sales strategies.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions. You should have strong business development skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven record of achieving sales success in competitive markets.
- 3+ years of professional sales experience, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Experience selling technology, cloud, communication, UCaaS, CX, or similar solutions is highly preferred.
- Proven success in acquiring new customers and generating net-new business opportunities.
- Strong outbound sales skills with experience building and managing a sales pipeline.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to create relevant and strategic messaging for different customer audiences.
- Experience selling SaaS, cloud, video, phone, or collaboration solutions is an asset.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
