Accountabilities:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, managing complex sales cycles, and driving revenue growth within the financial services market. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them understand how digital solutions can improve client engagement while supporting business objectives.

• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
• Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing.
• Develop relationships with financial institutions and identify opportunities for new business and expansion revenue.
• Identify, evaluate, and support the onboarding of strategic partners.
• Manage customer concerns and escalations, ensuring effective resolution and strong client relationships.
• Deliver compelling software demonstrations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success and long-term account growth.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced SaaS sales professional with a strong understanding of financial services markets and a proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales processes. You should combine commercial expertise, technical curiosity, and strong communication skills to build trusted relationships with customers and partners.

• 4+ years of proven success selling software solutions to business customers.
• 2+ years of experience selling into the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of retail banking markets in Canada and the United States, including regional banks and large financial institutions.
• Knowledge of wealth management markets, including advisory firms, asset managers, and institutional service providers.
• Experience selling complex software solutions and managing end-to-end sales processes independently.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and demonstrate software solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, consultation, and account management skills.
• Excellent business judgment and commercial awareness.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Fluent in English; French proficiency is considered a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States, with occasional international travel.
