As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring customer accounts remain accurate. Accountabilities
- Prepare, issue, and manage customer invoices accurately and within required timelines.
- Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are correctly allocated to customer accounts.
- Follow up on overdue invoices professionally while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues when needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support accounting processes.
- Assist with month-end reporting activities and provide reliable financial information to internal teams.
- Support efficient accounts receivable operations by following established procedures and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, finance administration, or a similar accounting role.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or comparable platforms.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial data, and numerical information.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and identify inconsistencies.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing daily priorities effectively.
- Reliable home internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote work.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
