This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Administration Support - Insurance (Service Specialist) based in Australia.
This role provides essential administrative and client service support across a diverse portfolio of corporate insurance clients. You’ll work closely with Client Managers, Client Executives, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate policy servicing. The position offers exposure to complex insurance and risk solutions across energy, utilities, power, and natural resources. You’ll contribute across the full policy lifecycle, from pre-renewal preparation through renewals and post-renewal administration. Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset will be central to delivering consistently high-quality outcomes. Accountabilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Brokers and client teams in managing insurance and risk requirements.
- Communicate with clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to understand and support their insurance needs.
- Assist with pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal activities, including preparing quotations, endorsements, certificates of currency, cancellations, and renewal reports.
- Prepare, lodge, and invoice insurance policies accurately and within required timeframes.
- Support client meetings, tender processes, renewals, claims, and other insurance broking activities as required.
- Coordinate with Senior Brokers, Underwriters, Client Executives, Client Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and administration throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Build positive and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to a consistently strong client experience.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance administration, client service, broking support, financial services, or a closely related environment is advantageous.
- Genuine interest in developing a career within the insurance industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
