Accountabilities:
The AI Information Architect/ Content Strategist will design and optimize knowledge systems that improve content discoverability, usability, and scalability. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, user-centered design, content governance, and technical collaboration to create effective AI-enhanced support experiences.
- Design and maintain information architecture deliverables, including user flows, sitemaps, navigation structures, and content models.
- Develop AI-driven content strategies that leverage generative AI tools to create accurate, scalable, and efficient knowledge resources.
- Conduct user research, content audits, stakeholder interviews, and analysis to identify customer needs and content opportunities.
- Create and refine taxonomies, metadata structures, tagging strategies, and labeling frameworks to improve content findability.
- Design intuitive navigation systems that enhance user experiences across digital support platforms and self-service environments.
- Collaborate with designers on wireframes, prototypes, and user experience solutions for knowledge bases and virtual support experiences.
- Partner with search optimization teams to improve content performance across AI-powered search, automated responses, and digital workflows.
- Work with content strategists and technical writers to align content models with editorial standards and organizational guidelines.
- Monitor and optimize information architecture through analytics, usability testing, and user feedback.
- Develop governance documentation, standards, and processes to support scalable content management practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate combines expertise in information architecture, content strategy, and AI-enabled content workflows. They should be comfortable analyzing complex information systems, collaborating across disciplines, and creating structured experiences that improve customer success.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Architecture, Technical Writing, UX Design, Content Strategy, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in information architecture, content strategy, UX, technical writing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of information architecture principles, including user-centered design, navigation patterns, taxonomy development, metadata schemas, and content modeling.
- Experience using AI content generation and optimization tools within content workflows.
- Knowledge of how content performs across AI-powered search and automated response systems.
- Ability to design and maintain structured content frameworks for large knowledge libraries.
- Experience conducting content audits, usability testing, research, and data-driven improvements.
- Strong ability to translate complex information structures into clear documentation and actionable frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with writers, designers, product teams, and engineers.
- Experience with customer support environments, knowledge management platforms, or case management systems.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization, content analytics, and digital content performance measurement.
- Experience with collaboration platforms, communication technologies, or similar software products is preferred.
