Accountabilities:
The AMS Senior Certified HCM Consultant will provide advanced Workday HCM expertise, with a focus on Advanced Compensation, supporting clients through system optimization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong consulting skills, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on the Workday HCM product suite, with specialized knowledge of Advanced Compensation.
- Support clients with strategic recommendations, system improvements, and innovative solutions to maximize Workday effectiveness.
- Gather and document business requirements, design solutions, configure Workday functionality, and support testing activities.
- Develop prototypes, conduct knowledge transfers, and guide clients through Workday best practices.
- Assist with data conversion activities and support the secure transition of legacy data into Workday.
- Collaborate with integration teams to configure and test connections between Workday and external systems.
- Analyze complex business requirements and provide scalable solutions that improve system performance and user experience.
- Mentor and support consultants by sharing product knowledge, best practices, and implementation expertise.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities clearly with project managers and stakeholders.
- Maintain client satisfaction by delivering reliable support and ensuring successful Workday adoption.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, new approaches, and more efficient deployment strategies.
- Maintain required Workday certifications and remain active within the Workday ecosystem.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Workday HCM consultant with strong Advanced Compensation expertise and a proven ability to deliver strategic consulting services. The role requires technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and experience working with enterprise HR technology solutions.
- Current Workday Partner HCM Certification and/or Advanced Compensation Certification.
- 5+ years of experience configuring and implementing Workday HCM solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous consulting experience within a consulting, technology, or software organization.
- Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar enterprise applications.
- Functional experience in one or more HCM areas, including Talent & Performance, Recruitment, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, or Compensation.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage timelines and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client-facing abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies through training and self-directed development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex functional challenges.
- Experience managing multiple HCM projects simultaneously is an asset.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5% depending on project requirements.
