This role offers the opportunity to strengthen privacy, data protection, and compliance practices across a technology-driven organization.
You will play a key part in identifying personal data processing activities, assessing risks, and supporting compliance with the LGPD.
The position combines governance, risk management, contractual review, and engagement with internal stakeholders.
You will also contribute to building a stronger privacy culture through policies, procedures, training, and awareness initiatives.
The role requires autonomy in managing data subject requests while ensuring regulatory deadlines and requirements are met.
Working across legal, technology, security, and business contexts, you will help turn privacy requirements into practical organizational practices.

Accountabilities
- Map personal data processing activities, identifying privacy risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvement in accordance with the LGPD.
- Conduct privacy and data protection compliance assessments and support the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Develop, review, and maintain internal privacy policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation.
- Independently manage data subject requests, ensuring appropriate handling, documentation, and compliance with applicable LGPD deadlines and requirements.
- Review contracts and business documents, including the assessment and negotiation of clauses related to privacy and personal data protection.
- Develop and deliver privacy and data protection training and awareness initiatives for employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports on privacy and data protection activities, including relevant performance indicators and governance metrics.
- Support the continuous strengthening of privacy governance, risk management, and organizational compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and privacy governance principles.
- Experience with risk management and the ability to identify, assess, and address privacy and data protection risks.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
- Familiarity with information security and privacy frameworks, including ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27701, NIST, MITRE, and CIS Controls.
- Certification in privacy or data protection, such as EXIN Privacy and Data Protection Foundation or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to regulatory requirements, documentation, and deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly when explaining privacy requirements and promoting awareness across different teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and translate regulatory and governance requirements into practical actions.
