As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust data and analytics foundation to support critical business decisions, customer insights, and operational efficiency. Working closely with analysts, data scientists, and engineers, you will design and maintain scalable, high-quality data models and metrics that power analytics, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will help transform raw data into actionable insights while ensuring reliability, documentation, and performance across analytics pipelines. Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into curated, business-ready datasets
- Implement and manage metric definitions aligned with documented business logic
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business questions into data models
- Ensure analytics models meet standards for performance, reliability, testing, and documentation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to analytics design discussions
- Support continuous improvement of analytics engineering practices and methodologies
- Maintain data integrity and support regulatory and operational reporting needs
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, or a related data role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts
- Experience with data transformation tools (dbt preferred) and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks SQL)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to operate in a regulated, detail-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently, incorporate feedback, and collaborate across teams
- Familiarity with Databricks, Jira, and Notion is a plus
