This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Art Supervisor based in United States.

This is a creative leadership role focused on developing integrated advertising campaigns for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands.
You will shape ideas from initial concept through final execution, combining strong visual design with strategic thinking and compelling storytelling.
Working alongside copywriters, senior creatives, account teams, and other specialists, you will turn creative briefs into distinctive campaign concepts.
You will balance hands-on design work with mentoring and guiding junior designers and art directors.
The role offers the opportunity to present creative work directly to clients and contribute to new business initiatives.

Accountabilities:

    • Independently conceptualize, develop, and design creative content and integrated advertising campaigns based on strategic direction and client briefs.
    • Partner with copywriters and senior art staff to develop compelling concepts, layouts, visual systems, and campaign ideas for client, internal, and new business projects.
    • Prepare detailed layouts, storyboards, comps, and other creative materials, taking concepts through to final completion.
    • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, maintaining quality, organization, and timely delivery under tight deadlines.
    • Collaborate with editorial, project management, account management, studio, and other agency teams to maintain efficient workflows and meet project requirements.
    • Work with internal studio teams and external suppliers or freelancers to deliver high-quality creative executions.
    • Lead and mentor entry-level designers and art directors, allocating appropriate resources and coordinating freelance support when required.
    • Monitor the quality and consistency of creative output while providing constructive direction and leadership to the broader creative team.
    • Present creative concepts and recommendations in client meetings and help communicate the strategic and creative rationale behind the work.
    • Participate in new business opportunities and contribute ideas that strengthen client relationships and support business growth.
    • Develop strong knowledge of assigned products, therapeutic categories, and relevant audiences to ensure creative work is informed and effective.
    • Identify creative and production challenges, develop practical solutions, communicate project status, and maintain strong relationships across functional teams.
    • Maintain professional standards, strong time management, accurate timesheets, and a highly organized approach to creative delivery.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
      • 6–10 years of creative experience, including at least 4 years working in pharmaceutical advertising.
      • At least 4 years of supervisory or people-management experience.
      • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device marketing is strongly preferred.
      • Strong understanding of integrated advertising, visual design, campaign development, layouts, storyboards, and creative production.
      • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office on PC or Mac platforms.
      • Excellent creative presentation skills and the ability to confidently communicate and sell ideas to peers, clients, and senior stakeholders.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent customer service and a commitment to high-quality work.
      • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, resourceful, and comfortable taking direction while also working independently.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively across creative, account management, editorial, project management, and other functional teams.
      • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
      • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor junior talent, coordinate resources, and maintain high creative standards.
      • A collaborative mindset, low-ego approach, intellectual curiosity, integrity, and willingness to adapt to change.
