This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistente Financeiro (CLT) based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity to join a finance team focused on revenue assurance, billing, and accounts receivable in a technology-driven education environment.
You will support internal teams with billing inquiries, payment status, invoices, and financial processes.
The role offers exposure to the full revenue cycle, working closely with Finance, Technology, Accounting, and Customer Success teams.
You will also contribute to monthly closing activities and the preparation of reports for accounting and external audit needs.
The position is ideal for someone organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working with financial systems and data.
You will have autonomy to identify solutions, improve processes, and adapt to evolving business needs.
The role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Brazil under a CLT employment model.
Accountabilities:
- Provide support to the Customer Success team on billing-related topics, including charges, payment status, invoice clarification, and invoice delivery, while monitoring and resolving internal requests.
- Ensure clear communication and understanding of current financial policies, procedures, and billing practices.
- Act as a liaison between teams involved in the revenue cycle, particularly Finance and Technology, helping coordinate information and resolve operational issues.
- Support the monthly financial closing process by reviewing and reconciling revenue and receivables data.
- Prepare supporting reports and information for Accounting and external audit teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial routines and contribute to more efficient, reliable, and automated processes.
- Maintain accurate financial information and collaborate with different teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with financial routines, particularly billing, accounts receivable, or receivables reconciliation.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently investigate issues, find solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Adaptability and comfort working in changing business environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across different departments.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus.
- Previous involvement in digital transformation initiatives or technology-driven projects is considered an advantage.
