This is an opportunity to support clinical research by helping build reliable electronic databases used in clinical studies.
You will design and test electronic Case Report Forms, data-entry screens, and clinical database components.
The role combines database development, SQL programming, data validation, and collaboration with study teams.
You will work closely with data management and study management stakeholders to translate study requirements into effective solutions.
Your work will contribute to accurate, high-quality data collection and reporting throughout the study lifecycle.

Accountabilities:
- Create electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) based on finalized study protocols and design specifications for Electronic Data Capture (EDC) studies.
- Develop data-entry screens for paper-based studies using approved, annotated Case Report Forms.
- Design, build, and test clinical databases in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Program field derivations, edit checks, consistency checks, validations, procedures, and business rules to support data quality.
- Develop study reporting environments incorporating CRF and non-CRF data and transform collected data into required reporting formats.
- Collaborate with data management and study management teams during study start-up to understand requirements and deliver appropriate database solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver accurate, timely work while maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent, from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical field; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.
- 0–3 years of practical experience with commercial clinical data management systems and/or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms such as Oracle RDC/Inform, Medidata Rave, or DataLabs.
- Demonstrated knowledge or practical experience across the primary responsibilities of clinical database development is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of SQL programming experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with drug development and clinical trial processes is desirable.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, manage deadlines, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
- Willingness to learn clinical data management processes, database technologies, and study-specific requirements.
