This is a strategic commercial marketing leadership opportunity focused on supporting the development and launch of innovative therapies for lung cancer.
You will help shape HCP marketing strategies and translate customer insights into impactful brand and promotional plans.
The role combines strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and close collaboration across commercial and cross-functional teams.
You will partner with clinical, medical affairs, market access, analytics, insights, omnichannel, and field organizations to strengthen launch readiness.
A significant part of the role involves understanding oncology customers, market dynamics, competitive trends, and opportunities to influence behavior.
You will also manage external agency partnerships and ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, compliantly, and within budget.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic HCP marketing plans supporting lung cancer brands and anticipated product launches, ensuring alignment with broader brand and portfolio strategies.
- Translate deep customer and market understanding into marketing strategies that address the needs of healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders.
- Lead the development of promotional materials and multichannel initiatives for key HCP audiences, incorporating segmentation, customer insights, and channel strategy.
- Contribute commercial marketing expertise to cross-functional launch-readiness initiatives spanning clinical development, medical affairs, market access, analytics, insights, and other business functions.
- Monitor the disease state, competitive environment, customer landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and recommend strategic or tactical adjustments.
- Partner with Analytics & Insights teams to shape market research, establish meaningful performance metrics, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Manage agency-of-record relationships and coordinate external partners to ensure high-quality, timely execution across marketing programs and launch activities.
- Ensure marketing strategies, materials, and execution comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Manage marketing operating expenses and timelines, maintaining disciplined execution against established budgets and priorities.
- Represent the organization professionally with external healthcare stakeholders, industry partners, agencies, and other relevant audiences.
- Collaborate effectively across the organization, influence decisions, and help establish the company as a trusted participant within the healthcare community.
- Travel periodically for internal meetings, conferences, and relevant external engagements as business needs require.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, with 8+ years of progressive commercial experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare organizations; a combination of in-house and agency experience is considered.
- Proven experience in U.S. in-line marketing, including recent experience supporting an HCP-focused product launch; oncology experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and initiatives that contribute to commercial and brand objectives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare customers and the ability to translate market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at different organizational levels, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize competing demands and consistently deliver against timelines.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, combined with a professional and proactive approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in environments characterized by ambiguity, rapid growth, evolving priorities, and limited structure.
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability, with the ability to operate independently while bringing others together around shared objectives.
- Passion for improving outcomes for people affected by cancer and the ability to represent the organization effectively with external stakeholders.
- Preferred: oncology launch and customer-facing experience, experience with targeted oncology products, experience in smaller or rapidly growing organizations, and successful collaboration with field sales teams in a marketing capacity.
Benefits
- Base salary: $177,000–$221,000 USD, with the final offer determined by role, location, experience, skills, education, training, and other relevant factors.
