Accountabilities:

The Associate Solutions Designer will support the Solutions Design team by assisting with requirements management, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to contribute to solution delivery within a structured clinical research environment.

• Support the definition, documentation, and management of requirements for minor change requests and assist with larger initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
• Prepare and maintain requirements documentation using approved templates, processes, and industry standards.
• Support change management activities by ensuring updates to baseline requirements follow established procedures.
• Maintain accurate project and study documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify potential risks and support risk assessment activities.
• Contribute to risk mitigation planning by documenting impacts, decisions, and recommended actions.
• Build effective working relationships with business teams, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders involved in solution delivery.
• Support communication between cross-functional teams throughout the study lifecycle.
• Provide timely updates, help address stakeholder concerns, and support issue resolution through appropriate escalation processes.
• Assist with business process reviews by identifying improvement opportunities, automation possibilities, and operational efficiencies.
• Support feasibility assessments for proposed process improvements by gathering information and providing analytical input.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of established tools, methods, and best practices.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team objectives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a foundation in business analysis, clinical research processes, and technology-enabled solution delivery. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a regulated, fast-paced environment are essential for success.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computing, or a related field, or equivalent project-related experience.
• Professional experience in a similar business analysis, solutions design, clinical systems, or project support role.
• Foundational knowledge of eClinical platforms and clinical trial processes.
• Understanding of randomization algorithms, cohort management, and complex dosing schedules.
• Familiarity with adaptive trial designs, double-blind/double-masked studies, and protocol customization.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles and biostatistical design concepts.
• Understanding of integration processes between IRT and EDC systems, including validation and risk management workflows.
• Experience supporting global clinical trials and collaborating with teams across different regions and time zones.
• Familiarity with Jira ticketing systems, user requirement specification templates, and SOP-driven workflows.
• Knowledge of scope management and change management practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze issues and identify solutions.
