This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Automotive Parts Technical Support Representative based in the United States.
This is a customer-focused technical support role for an experienced automotive professional with strong vehicle maintenance knowledge.
You will serve as a trusted technical resource for customers and sales teams, helping identify the right parts and resolve installation or service challenges.
The role combines automotive expertise with hands-on problem solving, product guidance, and high-quality customer service.
You will work closely with Sales and Engineering to identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback that can improve products and processes.
The position also gives you the opportunity to advocate for customers throughout the returns and warranty process.

This is a fully remote, full-time position with a consistent Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule.
Accountabilities:
- Maintain a strong and up-to-date knowledge of automotive products, parts, installations, services, and technical support procedures.
- Assist customers with automotive-related sales questions, product selection, installation requirements, troubleshooting, and service needs.
- Act as a technical expert and trusted resource for both customers and members of the sales team.
- Provide detailed technical information about automotive equipment, components, and parts to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Diagnose and help resolve customer questions and installation challenges using strong vehicle maintenance knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Engineering to communicate customer feedback, identify recurring issues and trends, and contribute to product improvements or modifications.
- Champion the customer throughout the RMA process, helping ensure issues are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Resolve customer complaints and technical inquiries through phone, email, and other appropriate communication channels.
- Support the Sales team with technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer service assistance when required.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, communication, customer satisfaction, and technical support quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated professional or hands-on vehicle maintenance experience is required.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, vehicle components, maintenance procedures, and installation considerations.
- ASE Automotive Certification or equivalent automotive qualification is preferred.
- Approximately 2 years of customer-facing service experience is preferred.
- Ability to explain technical automotive information clearly to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to remain professional, patient, and solutions-oriented when handling complaints or complex technical questions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly for customer interactions conducted by telephone and email.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams.
- Strong product-learning capabilities and willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer inquiries while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining reliable communication and productivity.
- Willingness to work a standard Monday-to-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time schedule.

- Annual salary: $62,500.
- Full-time, fully remote position.
- Standard 8-hour daytime schedule, Monday through Friday.
