This role sits at the intersection of digital design, engineering coordination, and construction execution, supporting the development and management of high-quality Building Information Modeling (BIM) deliverables across complex projects. The BIM Engineer II plays a key role in ensuring model accuracy, design coordination, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to translate design intent into coordinated digital models that support real-world execution. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining BIM models across multiple project phases, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements. You will support interdisciplinary coordination efforts and help identify and resolve design clashes early in the process to improve construction outcomes.
- Develop, update, and manage detailed BIM models using industry-standard tools throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure model alignment and reduce design conflicts
- Perform clash detection analysis and support resolution of coordination issues within project models
- Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and documentation to ensure consistency across project deliverables
- Support project teams in extracting model-based quantities, drawings, and construction documentation
- Assist in implementing BIM execution plans and ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless digital design and construction integration
Requirements:
This role requires a strong foundation in BIM modeling and construction documentation, along with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- 3β6+ years of experience in BIM, digital design, or VDC within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar tools is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, coordination workflows, and building systems integration
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and resolving design conflicts across disciplines
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into accurate 3D models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred
