In this strategic client-facing role, you will act as a trusted advisor to key insurance carrier accounts, driving long-term growth, retention, and value creation across a defined portfolio. You will be responsible for building and nurturing senior-level relationships with executives and decision-makers, deeply understanding their business priorities, and aligning tailored solutions that address operational and strategic challenges. Operating at the intersection of sales, consulting, and account leadership, you will own the end-to-end client lifecycle, from opportunity identification through solution delivery and expansion. This role requires a strong command of the insurance ecosystem, particularly within carrier organizations, combined with a consultative and insight-driven sales approach. You will collaborate closely with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client outcomes. Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders within assigned insurance carrier accounts to drive engagement, retention, and growth.
- Own account strategy, planning, and execution to meet or exceed revenue, renewal, and expansion targets across the portfolio.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing of new and expanded business.
- Partner with internal service delivery, operations, and solutions teams to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Leverage deep insurance industry expertise to deliver value-based solutions aligned with client business objectives and operational needs.
- Monitor market trends and actively engage in industry associations and networks to identify new opportunities and enhance market presence.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or consultative sales, ideally within BPO, consulting, or service-based industries.
- Strong experience selling into the insurance industry, with a focus on carrier organizations strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets in complex, relationship-driven environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations and the ability to translate client needs into tailored business solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; additional industry certifications are a plus.
- High level of business acumen, resilience, and ability to thrive in a performance-driven, client-centric environment.
