Accountabilities:
- Support the delivery of supply chain and operations consulting engagements focused on strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and business performance improvement.
- Facilitate project work plans and contribute to defining project scope, staffing, deliverables, timelines, and methodologies under the direction of engagement leadership.
- Analyze core supply chain processes, including strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management, and accounts payable, to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Help design and implement digital supply chain solutions and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate technologies supporting supply chain functions, including Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay, and Third-Party Risk Management and Monitoring solutions.
- Apply process improvement and business transformation methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and Change Management.
- Develop financial models, business cases, analyses, and recommendations that support client decision-making.
- Evaluate, organize, interpret, and communicate complex data, metrics, and operational information.
- Document findings and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen relationships with client personnel and professional networks, communicating effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including executives.
- Mentor, coach, and support Interns and Consultants through project work, providing guidance, oversight, and constructive feedback.
- Coordinate activities across engagement teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution, client outcomes, team performance, and internal methodologies.
- Stay current on strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, technology, and supply chain trends to bring relevant perspectives to client engagements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or another relevant discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Consulting, or a related field, gained in industry or professional services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management, and/or accounts payable processes.
- Experience with process improvement, business transformation, project management, or related methodologies such as Lean, Agile, or Change Management.
- Experience designing, evaluating, or implementing digital supply chain solutions and technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with supply chain technologies such as Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay, and Third-Party Risk Management/Monitoring.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including evaluating, organizing, interpreting, and presenting business data.
- Experience with financial modeling and business case development.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Visio, Access, Tableau, or Power BI is advantageous.
- Ability to translate complex supply chain topics into clear recommendations and communicate effectively with client stakeholders, including executives.
- Demonstrated relationship-building and networking skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Supervisory, mentoring, or team leadership experience, including coordinating work and reviewing deliverables, is preferred.
- Strong organization, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, client-facing environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma, or Certified Scrum Professional are a plus.
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary: $92,000–$138,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.
- Annual bonus opportunity: Target opportunity of 10%, with potential additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation.
