This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Process Design & Improvement, Sr. Manager - Cox Automotive Fleet based in the United States.
This senior role leads enterprise-wide process excellence, transformation, and optimization across a complex automotive business environment.
You will shape how people, processes, and technology work together to improve efficiency, governance, and measurable business performance.
The position partners closely with senior business leaders to anticipate needs, guide strategic decisions, and implement scalable best practices.
You will oversee process design, standardization, continuous improvement, and end-to-end governance across multiple functions.
The role also contributes to major transformation initiatives, including integrations, acquisitions, and executive-led strategic programs.
Success requires strong influence, change leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around common objectives.
This is a remote U.S.-based opportunity with approximately 25% travel and significant exposure to senior leadership.
Accountabilities
- Lead process design, optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across business functions, identifying opportunities to improve people, processes, and technology.
- Drive day-to-day execution of transformation programs while establishing structured approaches for ongoing process assessment, improvement planning, resource allocation, and implementation.
- Conduct benchmarking and competitive intelligence studies, establish performance targets, and partner with business intelligence teams to develop metrics and performance-management practices.
- Establish and maintain end-to-end process governance covering data, reporting, systems security, compliance, controls, change management, and process excellence.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to establish governance models, shared objectives, policies, priorities, and procedures that support consistent and scalable process solutions.
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, executive-sponsored projects, and other business-critical programs.
- Identify, prioritize, and govern technology enhancements while collaborating with technology teams on solution roadmaps and deployment.
- Work with internal and external auditors to provide requested information and support compliance and governance activities.
- Develop high-performing teams and stakeholder relationships, driving accountability, customer service, efficiency, and successful delivery against tight deadlines.
- Support financial analysis, special projects, and strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination such as a master’s degree with 6 years, a Ph.D. with 3 years, or 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, continuous improvement, project management, process excellence, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation and organizational change initiatives in complex, high-volume environments.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Strong experience in continuous improvement and project management; Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP certification is a plus.
- Track record of leading high-performing teams or cross-functional groups, improving operational efficiency, and delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Experience managing large-scale systems and multiple business functions, with strong understanding of governance and operational processes.
- Demonstrated financial analysis capabilities and the ability to connect process improvements with measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Strong change-management, organizational-development, problem-solving, and strategic-planning capabilities.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, with additional travel when business needs require it.
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
